Canton Canoe Weekend is host of the men’s and women’s International C-1 Pro World Championship Race, and features solo open canoe racers who travel to Canton from throughout North America to participate in this renowned event. This weekend is also a highlight for the local paddling community, and a destination race for competitive and recreational paddlers.
Our goal is to make the weekend event a family festival for our local community, while marketing the professional races nationally and internationally. Every year we hear from participants that Canton Canoe Weekend is one of the premier racing events for families and professionals alike.
